The YEN falls as risk appetite increases on U.S stimulus
(Finotec Group Inc.) − The yen falls against the euro on speculation U.S. fiscal stimulus and gains in global stocks will give investors confidence to buy higher−yielding assets. Japan's currency also slipped against the Australian and New Zealand dollars as U.S. President−elect Barack Obama crafted a package of infrastructure spending and tax cuts to create 3 million jobs.

US economic indicators - Construction spending: Expected to fall by 1.5% mom in November by BHF−Bank
Construction spending fell by 1.2% mom in October, as private commercial construction spending declined, thus adding to the ongoing plunge in residential spending. Given the very low levels of housing starts and the general recession, we expect construction spending to have fallen by 1.5% mom in November.
